Coffin Party Productions is a company dedicated to promoting live entertainment within the alternative and subculture community. We focus on supporting the genres of (but certainly not limited to) goth, post-punk, death rock, dark metal, pagan and dark wave music. We provide opportunities for musicians and artists to present their works in a safe inclusive environment.

We desire to support artists that contribute to the vibrant alternative community in Vancouver. We strongly believe in creating a safe and non judgmental environment for everyone, regardless of background and free from all forms of prejudice and marginalization. Coffin Party offers new avenues to explore; avenues of change, inclusion, acceptance and creativity.

Coffin Party Productions Team
Originally from Edmonton, Alberta, Ari has been a musician for 29 years. Classically trained violinist and cellist, Ari has worked with numerous bands from across Canada. He is a session recording/performing artist, teacher, promoter and composer. He is currently active in the Vancouver music scene playing violin and cello with the Chi Pig Trio (SNFU), Wolfbrood, and Kat Bastow
Kat Bastow is a professionally trained singer and composer from Vancouver, BC. With a Bachelors of Arts in music from VCC, Kat has her own self titled solo project, largely influenced by goth/alternative subculture, and also a member of local Vancouver band Momy Fortuna.
